Jason K. Pollei, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Jason K. Pollei believes orthodontic treatment means more than just a great smile. It is about providing a service that impacts patients for the rest of their lives, while having fun and enjoying the process of gaining that great smile. In his words, "When I was younger, this is what drew me to orthodontics, and it is what keeps me excited about what I get to do every day!"
After completing his undergraduate studies in Zoology at Brigham Young University in 3 years, Dr. Pollei attended dental school at the University of North Carolina where he graduated with distinction and was inducted into the OKU national dental honor society. His orthodontic training was also completed at the University of North Carolina where he earned his Master's degree in orthodontics and his specialty certification in orthodontics. Dr. Pollei is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and has presented his original orthodontic research at national and international conferences.
By maintaining membership in various professional organizations, Dr. Pollei is able to stay current with the latest advances in orthodontics. These memberships include the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontics, the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association and the Nashville Dental Association.
As a part of his commitment to support the communities our practice serves, Dr. Pollei sponsors community youth and school athletic teams, supports local churches and schools, and works with the Interfaith Dental Clinic in Nashville as a volunteer orthodontist to underprivileged children.
Dr. Pollei is married to Heather and they have five children. When he's not at the office or with his family, he can be found playing soccer, writing music, playing the organ at his church, or watching college football.
Baird R. Faulkner, D.M.D.
Dr. Pollei and the staff at Faulkner and Pollei Orthodontics want to honor Dr. Faulkner and the legacy he left for his family, friends, co-workers and patients. While we unfortunately had to say goodbye to Dr. Faulkner earlier than we ever hoped for, the memory of the life he lived will never be forgotten.
Dr. Faulkner had a passion for creating beautiful smiles for his patients to boost their self-confidence. Like Dr. Pollei, Dr. Faulkner worked with each patient individually and treated them as part of the family. Together, Dr. Faulkner and his patients would create a true partnership striving for a common goal – to achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles that would last a lifetime.
